Rozalynn Fulton

Executive Director

Rozalynn Fulton is the Executive Director for the Community Theatre of Greensboro. (CTG). She grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and graduated from North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride) and became part of the CTG family in August 2000 as the Administrative Assistant. Roz has loved being involved with CTG for the past 23 years and being able to enrich the lives of people across our community. In 2005 she became Education Director and kicked off CTG’s Youth Theatre by giving young people the opportunity to perform in different leading roles and in 2006 she started CTG’s Centerstage Youth Performing Group. This talented group of kids, ages 7-18, have performed in places such as Carowinds and Busch Gardens. They have also won numerous awards including Outstanding Overall Performance at the Junior Theatre Festival under her direction. Roz has worked with many schools providing theatrical workshops and classes including The Newcomers School a school for immigrants and refugee students. In 2011 she was awarded the Freddie G. Teaching Award at the Junior Theatre Festival.  In 2013 she started a program for High School students who are interested in learning how to direct, choreograph, music direct and stage manage. In 2018 she received the Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Woman of the Year award for her commitment to serving our community. Under her leadership Community Theatre now runs many opportunities that help CTG thrive artistically.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and shopping.

Stephanie Evans

Director of Operations

Meet Stephanie Evans, the Director of Operations at the Community Theatre of Greensboro. With 25 years of experience in administrative leadership, Stephanie has been a valuable member of CTG for over a decade, serving as a volunteer and production staff member for many shows. 

In her role as Director of Theatre Operations, Stephanie oversees the daily operations of CTG, including back and front of house operations, information technology, maintenance, restoration projects, budgeting, and general operations. She ensures that the venue is always ready for performances and operates smoothly. 

These are just a few of the duties that Stephanie performs at the Community Theatre of Greensboro. As Director of Operations, she considers herself fortunate to be able to inspire, communicate, and build community within the theatre.

Nikki Philbrick

Education Director

Nikki Philbrick is a licensed NC theatre arts K-12 educator, who currently holds the position of Education Director at the Community Theatre of Greensboro. Since joining the organization in 2018, Nikki has been an instrumental force in shaping and enhancing theatrical experiences for youth across the Triad. Nikki graduated from University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts Education in 2018, and most recently completed her M. Ed in Urban Education and Anti-racist Education from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2023.

In her capacity as Education Director, Nikki plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing innovative programs that inspire and empower young artists. A “jack-of-all-trades”, she is always working behind the scenes to ensure the success of each production and program. Her dedication to fostering creativity, coupled with her commitment to anti-racist education, ensures that CTG remains a welcoming and inclusive space for all aspiring theatre enthusiasts.

Nikki considers herself fortunate to have the opportunity to motivate, engage, and cultivate a thriving theatrical community here in Greensboro, for artists of all ages and backgrounds. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, baking, and spending time with her 3 cats and her very special “Toto” dog, Posty.

Gretchen O’Shay

Grants Manager

As Grants Manager at CTG Gretchen researches, writes and manages all grant opportunitiesincluding local, state, federal and national funding opportunities that provide support for programs, general operating and capital needs. Gretchen has been a fundraiser at CTG since 2017, including working as Development Manager, overseeing sponsorships, sales and advertising. She has more than 20 years fundraising experience including higher education administration fundraising at UNC Greensboro, The State University of New York and St. Lawrence University. Her non-profit fundraising experience includes Vice President of Development at United Way of Greater Greensboro, Director of Development at The American Heart Association and Development Associate at Second Harvest Food Bank of NWNC. She is a three-time award-winning Sales Manager for Aflac Insurance Company. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the Crane School of Music in New York and a Master of Arts from UNC Greensboro.
