The Community Theatre of Greensboro offers a variety of theatre arts-based camps to inspire creativity and confidence! Our partnership programs with Guilford County Schools provide an excellent introduction to the arts, while our production camps give participants the opportunity to experience the magic of putting on a full-scale production. For those ready to take their skills to the next level, our teen camps offer the most intensive experience, serving as the final level in our camp journey. There’s something for every young performer at CTG!

We are proud to partner with Guilford County Schools to be offering summer camps for our sixth year as part of GCS’ Summer Arts Institute!

Our camp is divided into a diverse and rich performing arts curriculum where singing, creative movement, acting, improvisation and arts and crafts are included in every camp day. 

To ensure that our students get a true theatre experience, each weekly session culminates in a performance showcase of what the students have learned throughout the week. 

Our programs are designed to help participants develop socially, emotionally and of course theatrically! Whether your student is new to theatre, or a seasoned young actor, they are sure to have a great time while learning more about the arts.

Daytime Production Camp Programs

For students ages 7 to 16 years

From casting to curtain call, our immersive experience is designed to nurture teamwork, boost self-confidence, and allow young talents to shine on stage. Join us for a summer filled with laughter, learning, and the magic of creating unforgettable memories through the enchanting world of musical theatre! Two-week camps run from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm daily.*

Evening Teen Production Camps

For students ages 13 to 18 years – No Exceptions

A step up from our standard daily production camps – with evening hours for our teens! Camp runs for selected weeks, Monday to Friday, 5:30pm – 9pm daily. Our teen camps take your theatrical experience to the next level! With more complex shows, challenging roles, and advanced performance techniques, these camps are perfect for students ready to grow and shine on stage.
