DESCRIPTION:CTG is holding open auditions for our production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. \nTake a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Based on the record-breaking West End production and the beloved film\, and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins)\, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang JR. is one blockbuster that audiences will find “Truly Scrumptious.” \nEccentric inventor\, Caractacus Potts\, sets about restoring an old race car  with the help of his children Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car is magic\, and has the ability to float and take flight. When the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself\, the family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman\, the Child Catcher. \nAudition Dates:\nMonday\, January 6th\, 2020 from 6pm – 8pm \nTuesday\, January 7th\, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm \nCallbacks: Wednesday\, January 8th\, 2020 \nAudition Location:\nCultural Arts Center\n200 N. Davie St.\, Greensboro\, NC 27401\n4th Floor Studio \nInformation: Ages 6 to 18 years. Casting information can be found here: https://www.mtishows.com/chitty-chitty-bang-bang-jr \nPlease arrive to auditions at either of the dates mentioned. Please come with a prepared song—sheet music or karaoke CD (music only; no one singing on the CD). Even if you are auditioning for a non-singing role\, we would like for you to sing something; even “Happy Birthday”. An accompanist will be provided and we will have a CD player on hand if needed. No monologues are necessary. There will also be a dance/movement portion of the audition. Please plan to bring shoes and clothes to move in and learn a combination from the show’s choreographer. Those being considered for singing roles and non-singing roles will be asked to read from the script which will be given and assigned to you at the audition or callbacks. \nCTG believes in non-traditional casting and encourages everyone to come out. Please bring your calendar so you can list any and all conflicts during the rehearsal period.

Can he knock off his unsuspecting relatives without being caught and become the ninth Earl of Highhurst? And what of love? Because murder isn’t the only thing on Monty’s mind…. \nA Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is a murderous romp filled with unforgettable music\, non-stop laughs and a scene-stealing role for one actor playing all eight of the doomed heirs who meet their ends in the most creative and side-splitting ways.
