Come along on their incredible journey to the ends of the airwaves– filled with laughter\, soaring emotion and roof-raising rock ‘n’ roll. Winner of four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical and two 2015 Olivier Awards\, MEMPHIS features a Tony-winning book by Joe DiPietro and a Tony-winning original score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan. \nAudition Dates:\nJuly 14th 3pm – 6pm\nJuly 15th 7pm to 9pm \nCallbacks July 16th 7pm – 9pm \nAudition Location:\nCultural Arts Center\n200 N. Davie St.\, Greensboro\, NC 27401\n4th Floor Studio \nInformation: Ages 16 and up. Please come with a prepared song—sheet music or karaoke CD (music only; no one singing on the CD). Even if you are auditioning for a non-singing role\, we would like for you to sing something; even “Happy Birthday”. An accompanist will be provided and we will have a CD player on hand if needed. No monologues necessary. There will also be a dance/movement portion of the audition. Please plan to bring shoes and clothes to move in and learn a combination from the show’s choreographer. Those being considered for singing roles and non-singing roles will be asked to read from the script which will be given and assigned to you at the audition or callbacks. \nCTG believes in non-traditional casting and encourages everyone to come out.
