CTG's capital campaign to buy 520 South Elm Street has passed the half-way point! We need your help to get to the finish line!
CTG's capital campaign to purchase the property at 520 South Elm Street
(the Broach Theatre) is now at 63% of goal, with over $1.3 million in
gifts and pledges.
With less than $700,000 needed to complete the campaign, CTG Executive Director Mitchel Sommers and Campaign Co-chairs Sally B. Cone and Adrian Smith are escalating their efforts to involve everyone who has ever been involved with CTG.

"CTG's Board, staff, and Campaign Committee are super-charging their efforts to propel us over the finish line," explains Sommers.
Here's your chance to make CTG's dream of buying a home a reality. The $2 million capital campaign will provide funding for:
- purchasing the Broach Theatre property at 520 South Elm Street,
- making some minor renovations, and
- creating an endowment to enrich operations and programming.
By buying the property at 520 South Elm Street, CTG will be able to mount all its productions in one place--except for The Wizard of Oz and other big musicals, which will continue to be staged at the Carolina Theatre. At the same time, CTG will be able to expand its performance schedule, provide theatre education and performance opportunities for hundreds more young people, and serve as a growth engine for Downtown Greensboro.
The campaign provides a variety of tax-deductible giving opportunities. Donors at all levels will be recognized. Naming opportunities range from $2,500-$3,000 for theatre seat plaques up to $600,000 to name the entire building . Commemorative bricks may also be purchased for $250.
