Dear Auditionees,

Year 15 of WIZARD auditions brought out 250 actors and actresses to auditions; an all time high for CTG. As we explained at auditions, that meant 150 people could not be cast. Because of the tough competition, even many of our wonderful cast members from previous years did not get in. We had many families audition where the dad got in and child did not, or brother got in and sister did not. This made the casting so, so very difficult. Please know we love you all and want you to be involved with us at CTG in another show very soon!

Each of your audition sheets were examined thoroughly and in many cases I spoke to you personally to be sure we were on the same page as to what conflicts you had and what roles you would accept.

If you did not get cast, please remember to come see the show and support your friends in the production. Sign up on our website so you are contacted about future productions, auditions, classes, camps, and other opportunities with the Community Theatre of Greensboro. Please don't be discouraged. Come back!!!

For tickets, call (336) 333-2605 or click here to purchase online.

If you did get cast, please respond to:

Erinn Diaz, Stage Manager
fifentertainment@yahoo.com

You must confirm your acceptance of your role and your acknowledgment of the first company meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 29 at 7PM.

CTG Studio, 4th floor of the
Greensboro Cultural Center
200 North Davie Street
Greensboro, NC 27401

If you are under 18 years of age, you MUST bring a parent with you to the first meeting. There will be a lot of important information given out and paperwork will need to be completed. The meeting will end around 8:30PM and you will be given a full rehearsal schedule at that time.

With such an amazing turnout, it is an honor to be selected for our WIZARD cast and we expect to see all of you on Tuesday, September 29 at 7PM. If something has changed (schedule conflict, illness, et cetera), Erinn and I need to be informed immediately!

Congratulations to those cast and thanks so much to all of you.

Mitchel Sommers, Director
Matt Webb, Musical Director
Alison Williams, Choreographer
