CTG's Season 63: 2012–2013 Cast Lists
The Community Theatre of Greensboro supports non-traditional casting and encourages all actors and actresses in our community to get involved. CTG also invites volunteers with special needs to reach out to us and find out how you can become part of the CTG family. First company meeting/ read through/ costume measurements will be on Thursday, January 24 from 7 – 9:30PM at Community Theatre of Greensboro’s new home at 520 S. Elm Street . This is where our production of CABARET will take place! Once your participation is confirmed, Jennifer will give you access to an electronic version of your script and vocal book. Cast and especially principals, I highly recommend your print out your own copy of the materials if at all possible to mark up, etc. because this royalty company sends mini-scripts with only your lines and your previous cue. Very difficult to follow and not user-friendly. Please bring your scripts to the first rehearsal. A full rehearsal schedule will be given out at that time. Rehearsals begin Monday, January 28 at 7PM and although not everyone will be needed every night until later on, rehearsals in general will be held Monday – Friday, 7 – 9:45PM at the Greensboro Cultural Center.
Our Artistic Staff is so excited to get started and we look forward to working with all of you on one of Broadway’s greatest musicals in CTG’s new home and one of my favorite shows!

The Wizard of Oz Cast List (2012)
Thank You All For Auditioning!
WOW! The calibre of talent we saw at auditions was fantastic!! We had a great blend of returnees and new faces—from kids through seniors.
If you weren't cast, please audition again (for Wizard or another production), and be sure to come see the show. We want you to be involved in CTG by taking a class or camp, participating in another production, volunteering backstage, or cheering in the audience.
Please email Stage Manager Jennifer Blevins at email@example.com, signifying that you have seen the cast list and are accepting your role as soon as possible (but no later than midnight on Wednesday, September 19). If you would like to receive cast information at more than one email address, please list all addresses when you respond to Jennifer. If any of your conflicts have changed or been eliminated from the ones you listed at auditions, please email those dates and times as well.
Our first Company Meeting will take place from 7 to 8:30 pm on Monday, September 24, in the CTG 4th floor rehearsal studio at the Cultural Center (where you auditioned). All cast members—and a parent or guardian for those cast members under the age of 18—must attend this meeting! Please bring your calendar. There will be sign-up sheets for parent volunteers and The Wizard of Oz Halloween Trail.
In the next few days, cast members who have accepted their roles will receive an e-mail from Jennifer (at firstname.lastname@example.org) with a link to a password-protected site where you can print out the script and vocal book as well as necessary forms. Please print out and complete these forms and bring them with you to the Company Meeting on September 24.
Every day, cast members and parents should check the following website http://ctgwizard2012.blogspot.com. (We recommend that you bookmark this site so you can get to it quickly.) We'll post announcements, rehearsal videos, pictures, and other information there. It's also a great way to check for last-minute announcements from any place where you have Internet access, in case you can't check your email.
Feel free to email Stage Manager Jennifer Blevins at email@example.com with any questions.
Again, Congratulations and "See you at the theatre!"
