Mitchel Sommers, Executive Director
(e-mail Mitchel, or call him at 336-333-7469, x 203)
A New York native, Mitchel received his MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1976. After years of professional acting in New York City, he returned to Greensboro in 1989 to become CTG's Executive Director, a position he still treasures today. Mitchel has performed in a host of productions across the Triad and has directed many CTG and Barn Dinner Theatre shows over the years. Currently, he is gearing up to direct CTG's annual production of The Wizard of Oz for the 17th time! As one of the most visible Arts champions in our community, Mitchel was recognized by the United Arts Council in 2005, when he received the Betty Cone Medal of Arts. He also serves as an adjunct Assistant Professor of Theatre at Elon University. The proud dad of Erik and Devon, Mitchel also is the Cantorial Soloist at Temple Emanuel in Greensboro.

Rich Gilliland, Director of Operations
(e-mail Rich, or call him at 336-333-7469, x 202)
Rich absolutely loves his job as Director of Operations for CTG! After living in Europe and California for many years, Rich returned to Greensboro in 2000, and has concentrated on bringing his business acumen to CTG ever since. Right now, Rich is looking past this year's production of The Wizard of Oz, because he knows that once Dorothy gets back to Kansas for the final time, he'll click his own heels and end up in sunny Florida for some well-earned R&R.
