PERIPHERY - Conversations about the "Greensboro Four"
CTG presents the revival of Periphery by award-winning NC playwright Ed Simpson.
February 18, 19, 24, 25, & 26 at 8 pm
February 20 & 27 at 2 pm
Periphery celebrates the historic events surrounding the Woolworth's Sit-In on February 1, 1960, and focuses on how the Greensboro Four's heroic actions affected a diverse group of ordinary Greensboro citizens. An especially poignant message for Black History Month, this revival of Periphery also honors the first anniversary of the opening of the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. An uplifting and educational play that will heighten your experience at the museum—and your appreciation for Greensboro as it is today.
